about the ninth accuser, what exactly is he sayisay saying jerry sandusky. what he's saying is slightly different than what the other accusers have said. he said he was a second mile camper staying at second mile facilities in 2004 when he was 12 years old. he was in a swimming pool with jerry sandusky and other kids, was then separated from the other children, taken on a four with jerry sandusky, taken into the football building and into an office in that football building where jerry sandusky gave him whisky and he molested him just before he went back to camp. he was a second mile child and that's consistent with all of the other accusations, all oath other accusers have been second mile children. >> sarah. thank you very much. especially given the alcohol involved. let's bring in cnn legal corporate paul callan here, the fact that there was whisky involved, just strikes me even more than just the facts itself. explain how this happens when another accuser comes forward. >> it's not uncommon at all in these child abuse cases. i think we're up to 13 claimed victims in this case. peopl

jerry sandusky will face some of his accusers this week. sandusky is charged with molesting ten boys enrolled in his second mile charity. now grown men, at least five of his alleged victims, are scheduled to testify at a preliminary hearing tomorrow morning. cnn's senior legal analyst jeffrey toobin says it will be an important session for both sides. >> this is going to be a very serious moment for these victims. because it is going to be the first time that they've told their story in public. it is a very embarrassing situation for most of them to be sure, and they're going to be cross examined by someone who is determined to show they're lying. >> jerry sandusky is not expected to testify. >>> virginia governor bob mcdonald will speak today at the funeral service for virginia tech police officer derek kraus. the service is set to start about an hour from now at virginia tech's castle coliseum. kraus was gunned down while sitting in his patrol car thursday by a 22-year-old man who later killed himself. the attack appeared to be unpro joked and there's still no word on any motive. t

knew about the sex abuse happening or allegedly happening involving jerry sandusky. michelle, as i understand it this is the testimony that paterno gave to the grand jury and for the first time it's read out and we are hearing more detail and what he said to the grand jury. >> that's right. joe paterno is suffering from health problems and he is not here in court. we are not certain whether he was asked to come here, but they read a statement from the grand jury report and this was an interview done in january of 2011. this is where that took place. joe patermo being asked if he was contacted by then assistant mike mcqueary about what he witnessed in the shower in 2002. mcqueary said he 4 gone to paterno saying he had seen jerry sandusky with a boy in the shower. in paterno's words, he said in the deposition he was told that there was a older mature man in the shower and mcqueary mentioned that he thought sandusky was fondling that boy. when asked about what actions paterno took he said that he referred this information to his athletic director at the time. that was tim curley. cur

coach jerry sandusky surfaced. well, the fate of schultz and curley may hinge on the day's star witness, mike mcqueary. that's the man there with the red hair. he testified about alleged abuses that he saw -- that is the operative word -- back in march of 2002. hln's mike galanos was in the court. and mike, mcqueary went into some graphic detail, and i know the whole debate coming into this had been, did he see it, did he just hear it? what really happened? what did he say today? how strong was his testimony? >> reporter: i thought it was very strong, erin. i thought he was very credible. he walked in with a demeanor, like, this is my day to tell the story. and we got that extra detail that, number one, that there were three different looks. and also, the sounds. first off, it was the sounds, the rhythmic slapping. he thought a sexual sound. he was embarrassed right out of the gate. then he walks to his locker and catches a glimpse out of a mirror, and through that reflection he says he saw jerry sandusky with this young boy, and he believes he's molesting the young boy. can't believe i
